I took my puppy in to be neutered and boarded. You would think they would give her the kennel cough shot, but they didn't. They were her vet! Then when she got kennel cough I took her back and they said nothing was wrong with her. I guess having lungs so infected with bacteria does count. I had to take her to another doctor only to find out there was nothing they could do for her. She would have been one a week later. Dr Barksdale should only be allowed to work on stuffed animals, they don't run the risk of dying. I highly suggest anyone looking for a vet to skip this one!

I use Arlington Animal Hospital for my two golden retrievers and have found the service to be pretty fair. I use them mostly because they are close in location because I do think they are pricier than other animal hospitals. It I didn't need the convenience of the hospital being close I'd probably investigate elsewhere.
